FIBERHOME Technologies Group is a high-tech group directly under China’s Government-owned Enterprise Administration Committee, the only entity of research and industry undertaking three kinds of strategic optical communication technologies: Optical Communication Systems, Optical Fibers and Cables, and Optic-electronic Devices. With the approval of the government, the National Engineering Research Center of FOC (Fiber-Optic Communications), the National Optoelectronic Technology Research Center and the National High-tech R&D Industrialization Base are all set up in FIBERHOME Technologies Group, which is one of the kernel enterprises in "Optics Valley of China"，and the constitutor of some ITU and domestic Telecom standards.

Wuhan Hongxin Telecommunication Technologies Co., LTD, a subsidiary company of FIBERHOME Technologies Group, is a high-tech enterprise integrating scientific research, manufacture, marketing, project and technical service of the wireless telecommunication equipment. Hongxin now has over 2000 formal employees, of whom 35% are master degree above holders and 60% are bachelor degree holders. Hongxin provides products and services to all telecommunication operators in China (China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom and China Netcom) and keeps competitiveness as the leading company of repeaters.

HONGXIN has devoted strong resolution to develop the international market since 2002, and now has many officially authorized repeater projects in South-east Asia, Middle Asia, Middle East Europe, East Europe, South America and Africa.
